NINE YEARS OF NIGHT (S)TALKING - HAPPY BIRTHDAY MBOARDS

April 1 marks the ninth birthday of the MOTHERBOARDS and the associated QUEEN MOTHER forums, a long, long run indeed! When we started the Mboards in Spring 2001, the idea of a Clubland community online, uniting our late 20th century tribes with more recent comers, was an odd one indeed. Now, after Friendster, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter et al, the role of the Mboards has again changed, but still revolves around DISCUSSION first. Our forums on Club history and heroes, NYC Drag Stars, and so many other topics have become wikis of stored nightclub lore and culture, still being added to.

We are so proud of what has happened here, and continues to happen. Many thanks to the hundreds of folks who have helped in so many ways, and especially our Board Members, who help keep us online with their kind donations. Happy Birthday, and we look forward to All Tomorrow's Posts...
