last night... fitzgerald's...
houston's oldest ALL AGES rock club.

i got called by my friend mariana to take her 13 yr. old son, bennett - who's like my little brother - and his punk rock band-mates to hear a high school band they admire - south 59. (named after one of houston's prominent stretches of freeway.) i felt like i was in an episode of south park...

antone from the back seat - "hey!! turn down the radio! turn down the radio!!" ~fart~

also heard in the car on the way downtown (about one of their other friends) - "dude. you know what sucks about mckay being mexican??" "what?" "he's rich. so we can't make fun of him for being a poor mexican." "yeah... but we do anyway." "yeah. i know." ~fart~

we had a blast. i stood in the back and watched all the young privileged white kids get their "punk" on - moshing (while careful not to REALLY hurt anyone) and the requisite stage diver. RAGING hormones!! and my oh my do the girls of today dress sluttier. thanx, britney!

I just found this website from some new friends of ours who came down for a party in March...i'm here in houston, and my better half is going to be in NYC all summer but on the bright side, it means i'll be single all summer..WAHOO!!! so if you dont mind a kinky chink to hang out with give me a holler and perhaps i'll come party down with ya.;)
