Not only am I doing Burning Man at the end of August , I am going to Hawaii on the 29th of July to finish my Scuba Diving Certification. I have 4 open water dives to finish. I'll be in Maui with Cathay Che for that part of the trip. Then I'm planning to go to the Big Island on my own and backpack around there. Anyone know people I should hook up with? I'll be camping all over but would love to meet some cool people who know the island well. I'll be there til' around the 19th. I'm also interested in going to Moloka`i (the island with the leper colony)

So I just arrived and jumped straight into the ocean at sunset with Cathay Che! So beautiful. Pink,Blue, Yellow ahhhhh...

Cathay got us 4 free nights at the Four Seasons in Maui, (perks sweetie). and who should I bump into at the airport but none other than Kembra! can you believe it?, so we are going to hang with her this week too!

I went to a little surfer town called Paia yesterday , it is so Chi Chi! you would love it, from the Unicorn "Stevie" inspired clothing store all the way down to the Hemp House! you and Daddy have to come here! I of course am getting my "surfer fetish" fill! Such hotties!

Next I'm off to the Big Island for some more adventure, but tonight Im celebrating by going to the drumming circle on the nude beach! Should be interesting , Im trying to convince Kembra to come, It's her birthday today!

So today was magic. I went to the active volcano near Hilo. It is flowing at a rapid pace this month (I have timed it perfectly) . Really one of the most beautiful things I have seen. The lava flows into the ocean creating a frenzy of waves, fire, lava and huge steam clouds. At dusk it just glows, stunning! A totally strange feeling walking over cracks in the rocks where you could see an intense orange glow from below, and more important the heat. It was like walking on Mother Natures BBQ. It was really strange and mystical . Very Lord of the Rings!
