I will be going to London in May for 2 weeks and was hoping for some great club news. I went to school there for a semester in 92 and 95 and remember going to kinky glinky's, i think it was the last monday of each month. Does anyone know if they still have this going on. It was comparable to the Love Ball in New York. I hope there is better things than just heaven. These spirited happenings seem to have disappeared everywhere.

The woman who did "Kinky" died a few years ago. No more Kinky Girlinky.

hi kelly... i've been putting feelers out to my london friends recently on behalf of some friends heading there soon. here's what they've said...
- GELREVO... This very Good Friday @ the World famous Cafe de Paris in Leicester Sq dance with breakdancers on rollerskates and diamante clad divas to music by BOY GEORGE, DAVE DORRELL, PAM HOGG, EREN, AND VERY SPECIAL SURPRISE GUEST For free guest list call Micky P 07789 456 526 or mail back FRIDAYS WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN!!!
- from link leisure... my favorite club is MERKEN at the cafe de paris on a wednesday ,loads of stars and v.i.p.s and desparados; my friend mathu glamore does some specal nights now and again... "THE SIREN SUITE" and PIG LINGO.
- from russell... as for club nights, well, hmmmmmm...saturday is good for WIG OUT, in the tube, in falconberg court, soho. cheap, great atmosphere, kinda cheesy music but a great vibe. also good is FICTION on a friday in bagleys, off york way in kings cross. bit druggy, but really good crowd and very relaxed, in a very cool venue - underground, lots of brick arches, and feels intimate but is big enough to avoid people you take exception to... in a slightly outmoded 'superclub' kinda way, FABRIC is good, in clerkenwell (forget the name of the street). can be quite expensive, but its a great venue, especially sundays, but any weekend day is ok. best thing to do would be to buy a 'time out' listings magazine when they get here and choose. but there ARE some crap one's...!!
hope this helps. have a BLAST!!

Well, it's Christmas Eve Eve and I'm waiting for the Beav to get offstage so we can have a nice drink round the pub and think of all our American friends spending quality time with their families. London has been wonderful but I do miss you all and will be thinking about you.
Kisses.
