Well most of you know Armen, but I had the oppotunity to see her for the first time recently at the Gershwin Hotel and really enjoyed. Her instrument is rather interesting, if you have not seen her act it is a must do. Two last thoughts, first, she absolutely comands the stage with as little as a coy smile or a raised eyebow. Second, Amanda was also terrific.

I always loved Armen (aka Princess Zoraya) at Wigstock. Of course her shows are always great but the Wigstock production number extravaganzas were always spectacular. I'll miss them.

I just bought the issue of "Girltalk" with miss Ra on the cover. She looks stunning. The layout is very Vanity Fair. Her interview is brilliantly pretentious! It's a total collectors item. I found it at the mag stand on St. Marks and 2nd Ave. Tower Video's magazine dept. is usually good for that stuff too.

Thank you for your sweet comment's, it was also nice meeting you.Thank you for comming to my show, and also thanx to Miss U, Bobby, and Minerva(sigh). Mother and Daddy, you were missed! I have a show comming up at Marions, I will post the date as soon as I know....hopefully by the end of the year I will have an album.Yes miss U Yes,I got the CNN tape and am recording a "sampler"cd tomorrow, I will keep you informed. P.S I got this book called Close-up on Sunset Boulevard,by Sam Staggs, and it is really interesting, full of details, and answers to the questions that have plagued me for years."where did she get that cigarette holder!""who is that blonde at the New Year's eve party?"
If anyone is interested, I will be performing at Marion's on Sunday May 19, 9:45pm 354 Bowery St.5$ Melodic lounge standards, and beautifully timeless songs.....Enjoy A
All that time in Hollywood has really payed off. Princess is OVER THE TOP! I always love her jazzy version of "Summertime" but last night's was spectacular. And her very dramatic Norma Desmond stage exit to the music from the last scene of Hollywood Blvd." was breathtaking.
