So I'm off to San Francisco, which leaves my wonderful room in the east village empty. The rent is $900 and there is a $900 deposit as well so a total move in cost of $1800. It's in a beautiful apartment on the corner of 12th st and Ave. A. There are 2 roomies that I absolutely adore. One sleeps in the other bedroom and the other sleeps on a futon in the livingroom (but it still serves as a fully functional livingroom as she hardly has any stuff). They are both straight girls. One is an actress and one works in human resources for nonprofit groups.

Nobody smokes in the apartment, but the room you will be getting has a fire escape right outside the window that you can smoke on. I will be leaving behind a few pieces of furniture (twin mattress, bookshelf, drawer unit, etc) that you are more than welcome to have if you want.
