Just thought I'd mention that if you can not place Truffle in a good home - I highly recommend talking to the folks at http://www.barcshelter.org - this is the no kill shelter I volunteer at. I will be volunteering for them this Sunday (although not in the office) but they do very well at placing small dogs in loving homes.

Cheers to you, too, Tonya, it has been a while. Thank you for the suggestion, but a shelter is not an option for this dog. I know him too well, and if it comes down to it, my roommate and I will foster him for as long as he needs. We would love to adopt him, but have serious time issues to consider.
