my big sister spent her birthday evening in london with jake shears DEEP in the inner sanctum of earl's court with ms. minogue at her concert. while the rest of the industry types and various hangers-on stood in the backstage bar hoping that she would grace them with an appearance, samantha and jake were quietly whisked in by the assistant to keep kylie and her mother company while she nibbled at her post-show dinner on her private patio. sammy jo thought he had died and someone made a mistake and sent him to heaven. i don't think she could imagine a better birthday.

I know, it's the big time for Pickles! Getting wisked... signing autographs. He sent me this from Cork (Ireland). He may be my daughter but I never taught him to sign an autograph like that! (He always did have a certain flair).
Daddy who is that old woman in the pic baking the swastika cookies. *scream* She looks just like my mother who's an unpleasant version of a "Miss Understood." Thanks so much, I am photoshopping the hair brunette, and sending it to her on her birthday, the Friday the 13th of May.

Thanks kids! I had a perfect birthaday. (My wife gave me a hot date for us to see Dolly Parton @ Radio City).
And I hope to see everyone at my surprise party this Sunday @ Salon.
