Greetings from the frozen city to all of our beloved Gypsies, and all who have joined our newsletter since last Fall. We are overjoyed to announce the date for our fifteenth annual NIGHT OF A THOUSAND STEVIES. This milestone show will be held on Friday, May 6 at the legendary NYC performance club THE KNITTING FACTORY, scene of last year's NOTS. The larger capacity and seasoned staff of "The Knit" made NOTS 14 a pleasure, and we are happy to be back again for a second year. We promise multiple rooms and floors for your twirling pleasure, including a Stevie-themed lounge, an intimate stage, and balcony viewing of the Main Stage.

This year's theme is "GOLD DUST WOMEN", an homage to everything Golden and Stevie. The stage, room decor and signature "throws" will be be awash in gold - think gold tambourines, gold lace, gold glitter, and of course golden shawls! The golden songs - from the iconic title track to "Gold and Braid" - will all be heard, and worshipped. Golden Girl LIZZIE DAVIS will return from Flower Mound, Texas to open the show, and so many of our most Enchanted performers will be back for this very special edition. We will have first news of the lineup in our next email, or visit the ENCHANTED GYPSIES forum on THE MOTHERBOARDS.

We are expecting a record number of returning Stevie Legends to grace the stage this year, but still want to provide the platform for debuts as magical as last year's STEVIE NICKS EXPERIENCE, fresh from Des Moines, Iowa. If you are a new performer who has already written to us since last year's show, you don't need to do anything - you will be receiving email with instructions in the next few days. Night of a Thousand Stevies is probably the best-known Stevie Nicks fan event in the world, a riot of shawls, lace, baby's breath, twirling, tambourines and great performance. This event began at JACKIE 60 fifteen years ago with four performers, and has grown into a true spectacle, featuring countless interpretations over a marathon night. As always, this Enchanted evening will climax in a twirl of shawls and tambourines with the Battle of a Thousand Stevies near morning.

Dress: Like a White Winged Dove and Golden: Gold dust and Gold glitter, customized gold-trimmed tambourines, Enchanted Eveningwear, blond and gold, oversized handkerchief hems, metallic gold shawls, gold Victoriana, ruched boot covers, mustard velvet, antique gold fringe, wizard and fairywear and of course Gold and Braid. It's hard to believe that this year's milestone edition of NIGHT OF A THOUSAND STEVIES is only one month away! We're hard at work on this year's theme, "GOLD DUST WOMEN", an homage to everything Golden and Stevie. We have just closed this year's incredible lineup, with returning stars from every era of NOTS, and some exciting newcomers. Shows will begin at 10:30 PM, and last through the "Battle" around 3 AM.

Enchantresses of Ceremony CHI CHI VALENTI and HATTIE HATHAWAY are joined by BELLADONNA (Santa Barbara), BILLY O, BROOKE (Maryville, TN), CASHETTA, DEAN JOHNSON, DIRTY MARTINI (Miss Exotic World), THE DIVINE GRACE, DOLLY DOMINATION, FRANCESCA and KOOJ (Detroit), THE FUSSY FAMILY (Jade Barbee and Frances Sorensen), GLAMOUR GOBLIN, GYPSY WILD, THE HO-HOS (Cathy Cervenka and Jill Pangello), JESSICA RABBIT DOMINATION and ROB CARLYLE, JONNY TINGLE and MAX, KELLY WEBB , LIZZIE DAVIS (Flower Mound, TX), MISTRESS MIWA, NICOLE NICKS, PAIGE STEVENSON, PURPLE GYPSY, SHERRY VINE, SISTER CODIE RAVIOLI, ST. EVE, THE STEVIE NICKS EXPERIENCE (Des Moines), STITCH AND SCARLET, SWEETIE and VELOCITY CHYALDD. The magic will continue between show sets on the main room dancefloor with all-Stevie DJs CRAIG SPENCER and POISON EVE, and in the lounge with DJs TEXXX and BILLY O.

This year we received a record-breaking number of inquiries from new performers, and only had space for a fraction of those who applied. We have just finished notifying all performers of their status, and thank you all for your interest and effort. If you were not included, we urge you to contact us again for a future edition. This year's bill is closed, although we still might have another very special guest or two added in the weeks to come.

We have received many inquiries about the minimum age for admission, and are delighted to report that thanks to the liberal policy of our venue THE KNITTING FACTORY, we are able to admit guests as young as sixteen. We know that Stevie fans span the generations and are happy to be able to include the "Stevie Fledglings" in the audience. Please note that you must be twenty-one or over to purchase or consume alchohol, and proof of age will be required.

this year's theme. I just had my first costume pow-wow yesterday and am so excited to have a new gold ensemble added to the closetful of capes, shawls, tambourines, boot covers, etc.

SO many legendary audience members have been writing lately - one has been at EVERY NOTS since #2. Anyone reading this whose been at every single NOTS (besides JD,Kitty, Hattie and maybe Eve?)

I'm a NOTS newbie... last year was my first night in Stevieland but I had so much fun that I'm totally hooked and look forward to seeing y'all again this year. I hope to take more pictures this time... the batteries on our camera died after only a couple of dozen shots last year. Are you twirling yet? Around here there are tambourines, doves, gold glitter and shawls everywhere as we are one week away from NIGHT OF A THOUSAND STEVIES 15! Here are some insider tips and late-breaking news of this year's show.

NOTS fan DEBBIE HARRY will be performing a song this year in the third set. This was not advertised, but will probably be leaking out from various performers and sources, so we wanted to make sure that our NOTS subscribers had the news first.

This year's show features 29 segments in four acts beginning at 10:30, followed by the BATTLE OF 1000 STEVIES closing The Night. As always, audience members are urged to join this year's performers onstage for the Battle, but YOU MUST BE DRESSED AS STEVIE TO PARTICIPATE.

As a fan event, personal cameras and DV are permitted throughout the house. No external light other than flash is permitted.

If you are coming to see a specific performer or performers, here is a list of who performs in each set (in no particular order):

I can't believe the enchanting night is almost here! This will be my fifth year attending and second time performing. I always love watching all the regulars perform (chi chi, hattie, billy o, the ho-hos, lizzie davis) and will say I've got butterflies thinking of Belladonna's performance coming up this year! I won't give the song away but it's one of my Stevie favorites!

Just a reminder that performer/press/family MUST send their guest list requests by midnight Thursday - no guest list will be taken on Friday.

Also, tickets are selling briskly and we expect to once again sell out by day of show, so please don't wait till the last minute to buy your tix.

As is our custom, we held some tickets to be sold in cash at the door - please come EARLy (before 11 PM) or LATE (after 1:00 AM) for the least wait/best chance at these.

Congrats on the sellout! Glad we got our tix in advance... we'll probably get there early but it's always better to have them in hand. I'm sooo looking forward to tonight!
