Its getting to be that time and we are making plans to come to NOTS again. I CAN'T WAIT

My question is while we are in downtown New York I would like to do some shopping for Stevie styled clothes. Does anyone have recomended stores for our kind of clothes.

my favorite stevie-sque store
is MOMO FALANA on ave. a @ 4th st.
or maybe 3rd st.
it's on the northwest corner.
hand-dyed silky tops and gowns
with hankercheif hems and all.

My favorite place for new (non-vintage) Stevie clothes is

GOTHIC RENAISSANCE
4th Avenue at 11 Street

This is the sister store of Halloween Adventure, and a long-time emporium for NOTS. The manager Stitch is making his NOTS debut this year - his performing partner Scarlet appeared in the NOTS scenes of GYPSY 83.

Worth noting that besides medieval, gothic, renfair and pirate gowns, coats, dresses and accessories for ladies, this store also has some great looks for men - the poet's shirts and velvet doublets that rule a men's Fleetwood look.

Also, for legwarmers we have long shopped at the SOCK MAN on St. Marks between 2-3.

One of my favorite stores to buy shawls is Mandala at St. Marks Place (b/t 2nd and 3rd). Hope this helps!
