This will be my first time going to NOTS. I've already got my ticket and I'm so excited to go. Just one question, my mom and my neighbor are going too and I was wondering, if they don't dress up, will they still be allowed in?

Welcome to the Boards! We are very excited about this year's NOTS, and the roster of great performers just keeps growing. I am going to freeze the new topic on NOTS that you started and move the discussion to the NOTS 2004 topic already in progress...

But in answer to your question, you are urged to dress as Stevie as you want to be - and many people take that all the way! If your mother and other members of your party don't choose to dress up, they can still come in, but even a little accessory - a shawl, tambourine, etc. - can enhance their experience, really!

As THE NIGHT is a marathon, and you'll want to dance between sets, try to find a boot or shoe that is comfortable for your look.

Wow...Good for you, your first time to NOTS... Get ready for the time of your life, what an amazing MASS of people from all walks of life and from all over this country and also many people travel in from other countries as well. I can promise you it will be a Night you will never forget.
I have to agree with what Chi Chi and others have posted back to you.
Stevie realness all time periods or something as simple as a little babies breath, hankerchief hems etc. The little things like a tamborine or what ever is comfortable for you and your quests.
Honestlly I am a performer so naturally I am in full Stevie garb and my old man dresses up as Lindsey its great fun for him and not at all his norm.
I of coarse having been doing this for a long time and am use to it, plus I really do love the Stevie look or should I say looks so much for as far back as I can remember like 1975 ha....
But I really think you all would feel so much more comfortable and have an even better time (if thats possiable) with a little Stevie or Fleetwood Mac look going on..Even a simple shawl and you will be twirling and kicking it up Stevie style.

Ugh, just caught this one or I would have said something in my last post to you.
Baby doll you are not even going to have to think about that a bit. You are going to meet SOOOO many people and will make all kinds of friends dont even give it a thought. This Stevie party is like no other.
People everywhere and everyone is there to celebrate the wonderness, talent and songs of Miss Nicks. You will walk away from this Night with many a new friend and or aquintance. I promise.... I have been a round a long long time doing Stevie shows and this is like no other.. Just wait and see you are not even there yet and trust me the new friends and or buddies you will make are waiting for you... Ha

I'll definitely be there in Steviewear! A Stevie Nicks costume party... what's better than that?! This will be my first NOTS and I'm so psyched! My husband is coming but he's not even going to attempt a Lindsey look... maybe John McVie though; he'll be wearing a black FM tour shirt with a big penguin on the front :-)

Sometimes the husbands are harder to drag along in the costume department. Trust me, I know - it took mine a few years to get his FM male look together.
