OMG!
The new Mr. Black is da BOMB! It's like the old one but better... A LOT BETTER! Last night was an "old fashion barn raising" (or as we used to call it at MOTHER, "an old fashion lesbian painting party"). A lot of the staff- bartenders, barbacks, DJs, door staff etc. got together to get the new joint in shape for the grand opening on Friday. It was very exciting. At one point I was having a knock-down drag-out fight with superstar bartender Lady Fag about what color to paint a certain wall when all of a sudden Dan Caciappo, the Mr. Black DJ & sound man kicked in the infamous Mr. Black sound system. Our eardrums were shattered (and I may have peed a little). We were home. BTW Lady Fag and I decided on brown. Then (as most of the work was over) superstar DJ Sammy Jo walked in to have a first look at his new home. He peed a little too. He had just gotten off a plane from God knows where and went straight to work at some faggot fest. He was a little ragged but not too ragged to check out the possible location the new "Pride Lounge". Black is back. |

Last night the Blacks had a little family preview of the new joint. There were about 200 of New York's hottest inspecting all the nooks and crannies of Mr. Black's new digs.
It felt like home. The grand opening is Friday. |

that was the spooky part, i think it's the old ghosts of mr.Black, they travelled with the furniture from the old place, i did ask them to come with, wouldn't be the same without the ghosts breaking the bathrooms etc..........

The NYP had asked me to submit a bid to construct the Mr. Black Holdingtank downtown at the lockup.
I told them since Puff Puff Bloomberg had hired my construction company, Giant Graft & Kickback, to build his private spanking den at Gracie Mansion, I wouldn't have time for the addition to the Tombs. So I think, at least for this weekend, you don't have to expect any roundup since there will be no capacity at the downtown jail. |

Well I knew last night was going to be hot but I didn't know how hot!
Of course the air conditioning broke downstairs and the Dance Den was a jam-packed steam bath. (Upstairs was fine) Congratulations Mr. White, Mr. Black is a big hit. (I knew it was going to be a major event when I saw the Empress bring out her special pink chapeau). The new Mr. Black hits the nail right on the head. Not too big, not too small. Upstairs or Downstairs, take your pick. Great same staff. Great STRONG drinks, not expensive. Great new music. Cruisey and fun. But most of all, it feels like a clubhouse. It feels like home. |
