I opened for them and the B-52s last Halloween at Roseland.
A very good show.

OK, this is just too good.
I've thought about it and I have got to post it.

Last week at GARY 49 I did the early shift.
Then Alexander Technique came on then Andy Pry.
As I was leaving the booth I overheard some queen say to her friend,
"He sounds good but I'm sorry, Sammy Jo got fat".
WE WERE HOWLING!
"Sammy Jo got fat!"

Now Andy & Alex are not what I'd call "fat" but as straight men they are not as concerned with...
let's say, fitting into the Roberto Cavalli size two dress that they bought to wear "on Halloween".

They are dudes.
And to a queen, that means "fat".

Why do I bring this up NOW you ask?
Because last Sunday I was running through NEXT Magazine (while I was supposed to be DJing at the Sunday Tea Dance at Thr Ritz) and I came across THIS!
An item in the gossip section about Daniel Nardicio's (fabulous BTW) birthday party on a boat that I was DJing for.
