THE JACKIE FACTORY's annual celebration of The Sporting Life and the well-turned trick returns on the eve of the REPUBLICAN CONVENTION with a political twist. This year's edition celebrates "HeartlandHookers", political sex scandals of all parties, and the inalienable right to sexual freedom among consenting adults. HOOKER'S BALL 5 takes place in a bunting-draped ballroom that mimics the convention setting, and stars burlesque-with-a-bite diva WORLD FAMOUS BOB and Gotham's legendary all-female performance troupe the HOUSE OF DOMINATION. Mainstage hijinks will also center around the HOOKER'S BALL's much-loved COSTUME COMPETITION, awarding $250 cash and a trophy in two categories:

1) STAR-SPANGLED MACK DADDY PIMP COUTURE
50 CENT VS. CLARENCE "HERE COME DA JUDGE" THOMAS

2) PATRIOTIC SHOWGIRL HOOKER GLAMOUR
BLAZE STARR VS. JENNA BUSH VS. GENIFER FLOWERS

A panel of NYC Legends will judge the contest, including DEBBIE HARRY, MICHAEL MUSTO, SUSANNE BARTSCH and JOHN POLLY of Next Magazine.


THE HOOKER'S BALL NYC was born in 1999 at the club weekly JACKIE 60 (1990-1999) to lament the end of streetwalking in the Meat Market neighborhood. The entire JACKIE 60 gang is coming back together for the night to help make this spectacular, including DJ JOHNNY DYNELL, who will spin from the main stage while JACKIE MC's PAUL ALEXANDER (of THE ONES), HATTIE HATHAWAY and CHI CHI VALENTI provide their signature MC-ing between the acts. Beginning at 11 PM and continuing through the night, "Method Go-Go" stars will lead various Hooker Delegations to the Ball, including JESSICA RABBIT (Georgia), VIVA, AMBER RAY and CONNIE GIRL DOMINATION, MISS KELLY WEBB (Hawaii), a Seattle Burlesque delegation, and the reigning MISS EXOTIC WORLD, NYC Girl DIRTY MARTINI.


SUGGESTED DRESS: Red, White and Blue Hooker Looks, Punk Patriot, Feather Boas, Cash, Ann Coulter Realness for Femme Queens, Pimp Eveningwear, Senate Sex Tourist a la Jack Ryan, Tranny Streetwalker Chic, Blaze Starr Burlesquewear, PONY logos or protest signs.

Here' the latest on door/guestlist for the ball - it was getting too confusing!

We're very excited as we begin the final preparations for this Thursday's HOOKER'S BALL. We've been getting alot of questions about door and guestlist, as there are several other events happening in the smaller rooms of the club that night, including DISCRACELAND. Naturally, we would like to raise as much money for the NY CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION as possible, while still accomodating our regulars and club family. So here's the lowdown:

If you are on our permanent guest list (every week at events like CROBAR SATURDAYS or last season's CABARET MAGIQUE) or a Board Member of the Motherboards, your name will be on the comp guest list plus a guest, good till 1 AM. If you are one of our regular performers, a longtime Jackie 60 or MOTHER legend, working press or anyone else who we would normally comp, please write for the guestlist to eventnews@jackiefactory.com. All guest lists close at 2 PM on Thursday for the Ball, and we will send you an email confirmation that we got your request.

We are asking all our guests to donate directly to the NY CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION at the table in the foyer before you enter the ball. If you would like to make a contribution by check, make it out directly to NEW YORK CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION - these contributions are tax-deductible as normal, and the NYCLU will send you a thank-you afterwards. Otherwise, just throw those Lincolns, Jacksons and Hamiltons right in the bucket for the cause.

If you aren't a regular guest of ours/ or we wouldn't know your name, we suggest you use an invite or printable pass from the HOOKER'S BALL 5 page on our website for $10 admission till midnight. Another incentive for coming early is the 10 - 11 PM open bar for all sex-themed drinks (Fuzzy Nipple, Sex on the Beach et al) and the midnight appearance of WORLD FAMOUS BOB! Whenever you come, we promise all you flatbackers and peckerwood grifters a Ho-down to remember.
