It was always a party at the palace... back in the day. Before Hattie got her head chopped off! Before the peasants slit our throats! DAMN THAT BREAD WOMAN CHI CHI VALENTI AND HER REVOLUTIONARY IDEAS! So the people don't have bread. Who the hell cares? They are all too fat anyway. Well the ones that aren't starving.
And speaking of stirring things up with the rabel... here is Jessica Rabbit Domination stirring it up with peasant revolutionary and Mother bartender Jonny Tingle. I wonder which side of the revolution HER bread is buttered on?
I have to admit though, it was pretty inspiring when I saw (Amber Ray as) "The Spirit Of The Revolution" carrying the banner in front of the peasants. (Sorry I don't have a better picture of the banner, I guess the camera slipped).
The amazing Basil Twist was responsible for the guillotine as well as the giant red silk curtain. He was assisted by non other than Bobby Miller. We were all putting on our wigs and costumes when Bobby walked in surprising us. (I immediately put him to work on my wig, which was BTW, courtesy of S'tan. It's one of her 18th century throw-aways. Thanks S'tan!)
On another note... It seems that when Jonny Tingle threw Hattie's, I mean, Marie Antoinette's severed head into the crowd it landed on our very own Mother barback/manager Keith!
And this from AP wire service...

And hats off to my Empress! This was her vision. Well, hers and Joey Arias'. When she told Joey what we were going to do he said, "Empress, you have to have a guillitine"! So of course we called Basil Twist right away. The opening music BTW (mash-up of Brandenburg Concerto and Jay Z's "H to the Izzo") was from Scott Ewalt who gave it to the Empress years ago saying, "Here hon, You are going to need this some day". AND SHE DID!

Dear Johnny -- I wanted to thank you and the Jackie Factory crew for being such good sports for my photography. Your amazing costumes -- perfect amount of bling, BTW -- and performance -- that choreography must have taken serious practice -- were not only my hands-down favorites for the day, but your willingness to pose -- even when repeatedly zapped in the eyes by the flash -- made it possible for me to get the shots I did.
