I'm new to the scene. I am not a TG but have been very attracted the T-Girl orientation. I am looking to hang out and meet some nice company in either clubs/bars or other places in the city area. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I tried the personals but really got now where.

First of all, welcome to The Motherboards DaveWantsU!

Next...
RUN don't even walk to Thursdays at NOWHERE (322 E. 14th St. between 1st & 2nd Ave.)!!!!!
Here is the full scoop.

It's a really great party with very friendly people of ALL persuasions.

Some tranny parties can be pretty hard core.
The girls are all "working" -this type of party is not for the newbie or shy boy.

This Thursday party at NOWHERE is really special.
The girls are all really nice.
Sexy for sure but let's just say that after having a little conversation at the bar your wallet will still be in your back pocket if you know what I mean.

And the music (by DJ Aldo Hernandez) is great.

AND IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH!!!!!!

This Thursday our very own Motherboards Drag Diva Sweetie is starting a brand new party at STONEWALL on Christopher Street.

Sweetie (in case you didn't know) throws the most incredible drag parties in New York or anywhere.
The word "legendary" is so over used these days and really means nothing except in this case.
Sweetie and her parties are the stuff of Drag Legend!

And as long as we are throwing around the "L" word...
This Thursday kicks off with a birthday party for 87 year old Hattie Hathaway.
Hattie Hathaway (in case you didn't know invented the wheel and the bobby pin).

In Sweetie's own words:

quote:
Please join me for opening night of my new weekly drag revue RIOT @ Stonewall for a birthday bash for our beloved Hattie Hathaway. Hattie's celebration begins at 9pm upstairs at the legendary birthplace of gay rights. Special early performance by Mr.Glenn Marla.

At 11pm I am joined onstage by "The Texas Tornado" Miss Ginger, YouTube phenom Wonder Robbie....PLUS a special appearance by Warhol superstar Holly Woodlawn.

THE SHOWS!!!
Sweetie is, hands down, the best lip synch artist in the world.
(BTW I know that you are new to all this but I should also tell you that Sweetie has NO gag reflex what-so-ever!)

Glenn Marla will turn you out.
Best up and coming performance artist on the scene.

And Wonder Robbie on Youtube...
See for yourself!

And Mexican Spitfire Miss Ginger!
She will knock your socks off.
(Ginger is famous for giving Lou Dobbs crabs. Tiny little crabs with sombreros. Why do you think he hates Mexicans so much?)

And Andy Warhol Superstar Holly Woodlawn...
Now THAT'S a LEGEND!
(That's a legend who probably won't show up if I know her but Miss Ginger will more than make up for it. Just be careful if you see little sombreros doing a hat dance in your direction!)

So DaveWantsU,
Thursday is your night!
Tell 'em Daddy sent you.

I use to go to Edelweiss,, when it was on 28th St. Then it moved to 9th Ave(?)in the Times Square area. Did anyone go to a place on 41st off seventh ave called,,,(I think) Fabric Factory. Is was a tamer version of Sallys, not very exciting but a place to pick guys and stuff like that. lol
