We just got back from a trip to Chicago.
I'm in love with my new camera, so decided to get a bunch of new shots of Jojo's work.

Jo-Jo is such a genius - his name came up today in a discussion of artists in a VERY rarified part of NY. I am so glad to have discovered him, and we owe that to you both!

Jojo has some exciting stuff happening right now as a result of meeting Clive Barker in Chicago during a gallery event and book signing.

Clive visited Jojo's Gallery and they are discussing a couple commissions.

In addition, he sent a film crew to Chicago for a week to interview Jojo, film he and Sal-e getting ready for Boom Boom Room... Jojo also convinced a guy to have his cock cast on film... he got a new tattoo, hit "Berlin" for one of DJ Greg Haus's sets and they did multiple interviews with he and his friends throughout the week...

They are now thinking they will be coming back to Chicago to film for another full week.

It could result in a very entertaining documentary about Jojo and the entire Chicago Scene right now.

Chi Chi, you send out your voodoo request and I'll let Jojo to send one out to pull you.

This is a group of pieces Jojo is working on now.

In the front is a casting of one of his models that is to be a piece called "The Island" it is inspired by a piece that Clive Barker drew, and Jojo has talked to him about bringing it to life in 3-D.

I won't reveal the entire concept, just know that last time I was up, Jojo and I went shopping for very, very tiny people.

In the background there are two painting that Jojo is working on. He just picked up oil painting, and has finished one, and started these two.

The larger is a self portrait of his angel and devil sides. The smaller up top is going to be in the style of a Saint Portrait, and will be Jojo preying to his Mother as a one legged Playboy Bunny caught in a spider web.

Jojo's mother was a Playboy Bunny for a number of years @ the Chicago club. Sadly, she passed away a few years ago after complications from a Brown Recluse bite. (yes virginia, he knows Brown Recluse don't spin webs.)

Marilyn recently took a step backwards...
She lost her body. Jojo felt she was too tall.

She's one of my favorites. She's changed a lot over the years, she used to have a bigger smile, but then Jojo gave her pouty lips. She looks more wise and sad now.

She's nested in a group of drying cock castings.
