I am working on a very large ongoing project that is starting in the form of a public access show. The basic idea is that it will be a multi-layered program filled with artists expressions of the theme for each of the shows in a series. All of the peices will wind together. I am currently looking for artists who may want to submit something of thier own, or do small collaborations for small segments. I'm not asking for much of your time. Anything you want to pull out and use that you already have? I am looking for anything from Art, to drag, to Skits, to Scenes, to Fetish, to Burlesque, to Music, to Comedy, to Poetry that fits a SCIENCE FICTION OR SPACE THEME. (WHAT IS YOUR EXPRESSION ON IT?) This goes for Animations, Set Designing, Make Up Artist's... I'm looking for Fierce and Soft and Overdramatic, Clever, Witty, Wacky,or Outrageous and/or Mindblowing, Politcally or mentally challenging... anything you love that you want a record of in a format with other artists for the sake of our history and future inspirations. I am looking to get all submissions by the 3rd week of March. I want the pilot to be nearly an hour. For more details, Please contact me about ideas and we can work something out. Or post here! My email, Femmechatte@yahoo.com It's going to be Amazing, I would be honored to work with many of you out there...This is for ALL of us. XOXOXO

I am also seeking the borrowing of any decorations or furniture that symbolizes or adds to the theme. Or if you know anywhere to get cheap props? That would be great. Examples... Spacey Art, Stars, Silver Mylar, Black, fabrics, balls that symbolize planets ect ect. weird Futuro Furntiture, Props ect.
I won't need it till the date of shooting. But I have to ask for Planning purposes.
Amber, I have not forgotten your Sci-Fi request. )And welcome to ArtMaker! Finally!!)
I have thought about this once a week, for the past few. I'm flabberagast at myself. Normally I can always come up with a lead of some sorts, but all I have for you at the moment is perhaps a directional idea that would be the redefining of Sci-Fi as it appeals to a new generation of hipster girls, gays and gender-transcenders.
{Using stereotypes here without guilt} Closet case, straight men, brainiac, egoist types have long dominated all that is SciFi for far too long.
Vonnegut Shmonegut. Sci-Fi fashion in evolution, SciFi Trendy Cool vs. SciFi Old School tired.
Applying this chic-rooted philosophy, an interview ship with a robot for a reporter (no big change from the real thing) could visit all sorts of businesses in the city (restaurants, theaters, neighborhood pubs). One could really push the envelope and interview government agencies (alien bureau of New York? and religious sects, not for profits, etc., For example, "So what is my Post Office doing to make my world a more sciFi place to live, your robot could start in the post office and wind up giving the mail clerk a make over, complete with up grading ther rifle under the desk with a futuristic lazer love the amber way gun.
well that's the best I can do for now. Should anything else hit me more specific in nature I'll let you know.
