With the newest release of our software, we finally have a feature some of us have wished for for years..

In your "Personal Space" you'll see a brand new choice right under "Profile" and "Buddies". It's your "Ignore List", a way to make pesky users simply vanish from your Motherboards experience.

On my original VC THE WELL, for years we have had a "Bozofilter", which is basically the same thing. I never understood why anyone would choose to bozofilter someone until in the days after 9/11 one regular in all the same topics as me was having a breakdown, and really lashing out.

I have learned to love this feature on the few short occasions that I had to use it, and am delighted to offer it to you.

When you ignore a user their replies become hidden, they cannot send you a private message, and you no longer receive notifications to their posts. Posts that start topics will not be hidden, but all replies by the ignored user will be.

You can expand any "ignored" reply if you wish to see it, and can remove someone from your ignore list at any time.

Can we please have this feature available for the objectworld. I can think of soooo many people I would like to not have to deal with on the street.
