Lovely supporters and would-be supporters of the Motherboards

Just a note to let you know that we will be raising the price for all Board Memberships by 20% beginning June 1. This is our first increase in four years.

When our server was maxed out last month, we were informed that we had outgrown that whole level of service, and are now considered a medium-sized community on the Infopop servers.
(Considering that huge communities like The Discovery Channel, Financial Times and Home Shopping Network also reside there, medium is actually quite large!)

That's great, and we are so happy about our explosive growth, but the new server space costs almost double what our old one did per month. We are hoping to pass just a bit of this on to our Board Members.

So, beginning June 1, here are the new prices -

Personal Memberships

6 months now $22 (was $18)
1 year now $36 (was $30)

Business Memberships - for venues and other businesses who post their events regularly

6 months now $36 (was $30)
1 year now $66 (was $55)

These prices will also reflect renewals of existing memberships after June 1, so if you change your status to "manual" renewal in your THRIVE account, you will not be renewed at the new rate until you approve. (If the increase is amenable to you and you have automatic renewal set, you don't need to do anything.)

If you haven't yet bought a membership to sustain all the great nightwork that goes on here, and want to get in before the price goes up, just place your order by May 31 - old rates apply till then.

As always (and especially now) we thank everyone who donates in this way to the Boards - we couldn't exist without you!
