A couple of months ago we were all shocked to hear about the untimely death of DJ, producer, night life icon and all around good friend, Adam Goldstone. He meant a lot to many of us in NY and around the world, from his editing of TONY club pages, his parties and most of all his unique personality. Adam's humor was dryer and stranger than anyone else I knew (a certain birthday gift he once gave me proved that). Well the time has come to truly pay tribute to Adam in the spirit that is befitting to him, great music, drag
queens and some debauchery thrown in for good measure. It is also a benefit for his family so if you knew Adam you don't want to miss it. But if you didn't know him, you'd still not want to miss it as I doubt anyone else can get all these freaks in one room.

Last night was beautiful.... such a great collection of mixed nuts.
I loved the poster of Adam that read "In fierceness and absurdity" brilliant.
I found your reading Chi Chi to be SO powerful and just is amazing how it resonates after so many years on. And it was such a fitting tribute for Adam, methinks. I must say I just found all the slide show pictures of him etc made me all a bit too fklempt. For some insane reason I refuse to accept he died. I refuse to remove his silly texts from my phone, his e-mails, his phone number etc. Anyway, must go have to sail further down De Nile....

What an amazing night.
So many blasts from the past, present and future!
Larry Tee said to me, "I feel like I'm with the father of the bride. Do you know EVERYONE here"?
I guess I did.
I know it's the biggest cliche at every sort of memorial type event to say that "so-and-so is here tonight", and everyone was saying that but it was true. Adam was most definitely in the house, and loving it!
So many people came out for him.
He was (and is) loved.

Johnny, Chi Chi and everyone else who was there last night, if only in spirit: Thank you all so for making last night one of the more beautiful nightlife experiences of my recent memory. (Not that I really have that much memory left...the grey matter ain't as pliant as it used to be!) Adam would be suprememely pleased. A bunch of us, including the family, drunkenly stumbled out onto the Manhattan Bridge last night to sprinkle some of his ashes into the East River - Adam used to bungee jump from the bridge, if you can picture that.
