Don’t miss the incredible two-time Grammy Award winner Will Calhoun. Internationally known as the virtuosic drummer/composer of NYC’s rock band Living Colour, Calhoun was one of the first drummers to blend advanced funk and fusion techniques with elements of hard rock and thrash metal. Since then he has electrified the audience by integrating Drum and Bass grooves, ethnic percussion and sampling into his playing. Today Will Calhoun presents " Black Holes" a powerful live world music concert-multi-media event at Performance Space 122 in New York City. He performs his own live electronic percussion loops, and drums and flutes. This fantastic music show will be enhanced by the contribution of poet Louis Reyes Rivera, and an African dance and ballet dancer.
