CARRIE A brand-new spin on the classic novel by Stephen King, Theatre Couture's Carrie delivers an eye-popping, rib-tickling comic horror thrill ride. Outcast teen Carrie White's dream comes true when she gets invited to the prom--but that dream turns into nightmare when a nasty prank unleashes her telekinetic fury. Starring Sherry Vine and featuring thrilling visual effects by Basil Twist, Carrie is filtered through the uniquely twisted sensibility of the critically acclaimed Theatre Couture (creators of the Off Broadway hits Charlie!, Doll and Tell-Tale). Carrie is a uniquely theatrical, bloody-good time! December 2 - 30 Opens December 9 December 8 - 10 and 13 - 17 SOLD OUT Wednesday - Sunday at 7:30 pm $18($10 Members)

The Empress and I just got back from the opening. It is pretty great.
Sherry Vine is amazing of course. David Ilku and the whole cast is fab but Basil Twist's magic brings it all to life.
When I first heard about "Carrie" I was thinking, "How the hell are they gonnna pull that off"?
NEVER UNDERESTIMATE BASIL TWIST!!!!
It's all there.

Also... If you are planning to see this -don't wait! It's just about sold out.
What the hell was PS122 was thinking? It's a Theater Couture production for crying out loud! Give them the big room! Have they forgotten what the other plays were like? Theater Couture put PS122 on the map. Of course it's going to sell out in an hour. I just hope they extend it or take it to another venue so more people can see this.

It was great..Sherry is amazing as usual and the cute sexy cast is terrific. But it is Basil's brilliance that shines through as always.
