I've tried a lot of them, first started with Vasoline Petroleum Jelly way back in 19__ (nevermind). Now I repeatedly buy and use ID Glide. It's become my favorite.
Crisco! Mmmm... I have to get some and try it. I've also been told that Crisco overnight is the best hand and skin restorer.

Water based lubricants are the safest way to go for reducing friction in tight spaces...oil-based ones like vaseline, crisco and so on can denigrate the latex or rubber used in condoms thus decreasing their safety in preventing transmission of STDS. Take it from the nurse.
Personally, I favor the KY liquid- pricey, but I'm worth it.
I have an unused tube of KY in my drawer that I bought six months ago. And are you quite sure that those Crisco users were baking or , ahem, baking...wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more, say no more...
I prefer Probe Ingredients: Purified Water, Vegetable Glycerin (to retain moisture), Polyethylene Oxide (a stable, biologically inert polymer), Grapefruit Seed Extract (to prevent micro-organism contamination) And it doesn't contain Nonoxynol 9 anymore because...

The Centers for Disease Control issued a warning about nonoxynol-9, the spermicide commonly used in condoms and lubricants.
Quoted from The Body website. It finishes up saying it isn't effective against HIV and it is actually an irritant that makes it even more easier to spread HIV. I like using with my glow in the dark Fleshlight.
