I have what will probably be a really stupid question --- I am a male who likes to wear skirts, but nothing drag-wise beyond that. I don't wear make-up (well, at least not since I stopped painting my face white in my high school goth days). I don't wear lacy panties, just boxers or tighty blackies. I don't wear pantyhose or a pretty wig. I don't wear women's tops. I don't wear pumps or women's shoes. I don't shave my legs. I just like to wear a knee-lenth or ankle length skirt and like an Iron Maiden t-shirt or something. Is there a term for my fixation? Half-drag queen? Drag princess? Scottish? Short bus passenger?

I am not sure there is a term for your fetish to wear skirts, though technically it would be cross-dressing here in America. That said, if you lived in the UK, I don't know if that would apply. However, you bring up a good point about labels. I think societally in America we are fixated on labels for everything....straight, gay, bi, etc. This seems to be our focus and then we mentally categorize them instead of just looking at the individual. So the rhetorical question I pose back is Does everyone need a label for what they like do? Let's pour some coffee and discuss...
