mine came after just moving to NYC 10 years ago, and my good friend Vulgar Greek took me out and about to all tomorrow's parties, but I had no name, and I kept thinking of all these stupid ones. Anyway, at Cafe Con Leche, I met Joey Arias for the first time, and I got the once over up and down, and Joey turned to Michael and purred "now who's this" and I replied back "Randella" and well, it worked thus it stuck, but years before my first kittykat was named Barbarella, so you can see my association...

Now I know why I have not gotten any TV email!

Hi all,

I've recently moved to NYC... Any suggestions for tranny-friendly hangouts, where a tranny and chaser can meet?

So, I'm trying to avoid scenes like Now Bar, as I'm just not that kind of tranny; and places like Baracuda are nearly 100% testosterone laden... makes me nearly ill being there. As a MtF tranny, I'm trying to get as far away from those testosterone filled male spaces as I can; I'd love to get into some tranny-friendly female spaces and hang outs.... Any suggestions? Where could a MtF tranny hang out and meet GG trannychasers in NYC? A specific bar? Or that particular spa? A gallery or something? Any ideas?

FYI: I like to think of myself as a somewhat well-adjusted 25 yr old caucasian tranny. I've just started girl-juice therapy at Callen Lordes; and am currently starting transition and a real life therapy/test.

Anyhow, I'd love to meet some tranny chasers and make some friends with whom I can share my transitioning experiences...

I'll be on/off this board in the future...

Hmmm.... I know some genetic girls who chase trannies in Chicago, although I'm not sure if they are "trannychasers" in the sense that you are... at least, they don't advertise it the way you do!

As far as altmatch goes, I'm amazed... stumbling onto this board was kinda like finding a needle in the haystack... anyhow, if this guy's not "a catch", does that mean that I'm in the waiting queue? *grin* I'm not sure what "being a catch" means in this day-and-age, but I, for one, would like to meet you someday...

And, yes, I can definately wait until May... plenty of things on my "to do" list which need to be taken care of before I hit the town shopping and going to queenmother parties! (project proposal at work, renting my first apartment, stevie clothes shopping, etc. etc.) sigh... priorities, eh?

Anyhow, I've marked the stevie party on my calendar, and am planning on attending... unfortunately, my newness to the city means I don't know a lot of people in the tranny/drag scene here in NYC. Which, of course, makes me want to find a couple of new friends & acquantences who I could hang out with...
