Dressy, I often go down to the 1st Precinct, where they keep the horses, and collect some fresh manure from the barrels outside. I then make a "tea" by soaking some "road apples" in my watering can. Not quite cafe con leche, but geraniums love it!

Hattie,
Would you be a doll and bring me some of that special brew this Sunday night.

Hattie - uh, thanks for the dose of fertilizer (Should we call it hat-tea?), certainly sounds like a magical combo. Another great one (Im sure you've heard) is good 'ole CO2. I sing to my plants sometimes - I think it makes them happy ( they've never booed, or died since I started) And my largest cactus claims "Chiquitita" is her favorite song. Seriously, when I entertain them more, I swear they look better - featuring a certain 'je ne sais qua'

How do you expect your prayer plant to pray when it's being cultivated by godless degenerates like you and (gasp!) Stacy?

Now my worst fear is Winter. The planter will have to come in.

When I wake up and look out at the lush greenery in my window box I get so excited.
It's the most beautiful way to start my day.
What will I have to Look at?

They'll have to change the magazine to "House, Garden & Windowbox" to put that photo on the cover!

It makes me feel so good to hear all your responses.
I was just outside, softly speeking them to my window box. They seem very pleased too.
