What about taking the 4/5/6 trains at morning rush hour? It gets so crowded you can't even get to the platform. Then theres all the people pushing and shoving. And don't forget all the wonderful people on their garlic diets, making it a truly wonderful experience.
Someone on the 4 was really close to me fairly well dressed woman ...but she stank of pilchards. I kid u not. I heady fishy fragrance I was just gagging.
Yes, myth dispelled, problem solved! Both fish are derived from the Latin name Sardina Pilchardus. For years the sardine has been known as a nice, juicy, oily fish, full of goodness, but the pilchard has been left a bit by the wayside, thrown in a tin with tomato sauce. The only difference between the two fish is simply their age. In the same way a child grows into an adult and both are humans, a sardine grows into a pilchard, and both are Sardina Pilchardus. Around 15cm in length is the 'changeover' point, when they are more than 2-3 years old.
