Russian Shows in Brighton Beach

Brighton Beach has a bunch of these Russian restaurants with of catering hall like atmosphere that are known for having big, gaudy, Vegasy shows. Popular ones include Rasputin and the Winter Garden.

I have physically been in a few of these spaces for quick in/out gigs but I have never seen the shows. I'm dying to go but I'd love a little insider info. I'd love to know which one has the best show, and by best I mean flashiest costumes, not most talented vocalist! Anyone know anyone who would know anything?

Anna Nicole knows a thing or two about the Russian shows........

Rasputin's in THE best ... over the top kitsch and crazy costumes and many changes and dance and floor routines and live band... all of them feel like u have gatecrashed a Russian wedding party circa 1984. Very kitsch. Its dinner and a show - not cheap - but insane amounts of food - meat meat and more meat oh an vodka an more vodka. The one I dragged Jimmy too wasn't that good (at National). Tatiana is ok but not as good as Rasputin... haven't been there in YEARS... but I would happily splurge for that kind of bizzare entertainment and some hulky Russian meat.
