Would Strut! be open to the idea of a trans rights (and lesbian gay bi HIV+ people rights) organization handing out flyers at Strut? having a table? Making a 10sec. announcement?

The whole party food chain here is blanched now. Even at the run of the mill nabe bars that tried to keep some kind of edge to their clientele have given up. Look what congregates on the streets around Ludlow and Stanton any night now -its a scene like out of New Orleans except instead of Southern frats its NJ kids and people from the Upper West Side who now ride town cars down to the LES thinking there is still good party there. Throw in a smattering of South American tourists and Euros getting the bargain of their life on the warped US dollar exchange rate and you've got the makings of the most flavorless 'scene' in a decade or more.
