HK, Midtown's hot spot for fine food and fine boys, is opening the doors to their dangerously chic nightclub of the same name. At the newborn Hell's Kitchen club (next door to HK the restaurant), legendary DJ/ Producer JOHNNY DYNELL and Drag Superstar SWEETIE are teaming up for a new Wednesday night soiree called SWOON. Splashed against a backdrop of old Hollywood glamour, Johnny and Sweetie will deliver pumping dance music, glittering performances and a fabulous cast of downtown's movers and shakers and midtown's hoofers and Broadway babies.

The April 4 Opening Night is also a celebration of the 6th birthday of Clubland message boards THE MOTHERBOARDS NYC with performances by international puppetmaster BASIL TWIST, showgirl glamour from LOVE LEIGH and VANGELINE DOMINATION, and hostess CHI CHI VALENTI (Motherboards founder). Dynell and Sweetie first worked together in the early Nineties at legendary boites including BOYBAR and Dynell's JACKIE 60, and have many other performance-rich evenings between them.

The delights of the new venue are many, including beautiful modernist design and a futuristic smoking roof. If you're a leading lady, matinee idol, ingenue or waiting to be discovered, settle into a casting couch, lap up some hooch and get ready for your close up!
