However, as you can see, all signs point to fun.

Cheryl is a monthly @ Bell House a fantastic venue in Gowanus. We've been a few times for other events and were really impressed by the space, the staff and the sound system.

Cheryl is described as "Brooklyn's best post-space, post-sexual, post-post future dance supernova."

Each month they have a theme with hi level dress code suggestions/inspirations (sound familiar?) and an inspirational video.

Had a little too much fun @ Cheryl last night. It was a great crowd, really fun music, and much ridiculousness going on.

Things got pretty bizarre when they started passing the bottles of fake blood through the crowd. I didn't plan it, but the effect was good.

This particular one was censored from Myspace for "violence"

We're really looking forward to the next one.

There's no CHERYL party this month (we're forgoing a July party so that we can make August's party twice as insane), but on July 26 there will be a picnic and shoot for our next video, CHËRŸL: ÜBËRJÜBÏLËË, a celebration of one year of CHERYL (party to be held August 20) !

Come ride your bike out or take the 7 train, and join us in the shadow of the World's Fair ruins in Flushing, Queens. We've got a psycho CHERYL video concept and we need your help. Shooting will be happening throughout the day, as will plenty of celebratory picnicking.

Instructions on what to wear for the video, as well as specific meeting location will be sent to all those who RSVP yes.

Bring some food and some beer in brown bags. We'll have some KFC to share, but this is mostly a BYOF/B picnic since CHERYL ain't rich!

Show up at 2:00, relax on the lawn, eat some junk food, and dance a little bit for the camera. It's going to be fun.
